PRIVATE RESIDENCE

Locus Design was appointed to work in close collaboration with Simon Brown Architects on the interior design of this new-build residence located on a secluded private estate in Surrey. The brief was to create a new family home that was contemporary but also, warm and welcoming, with real ‘lived-in’ spaces expressed through the selection of beautiful natural materials, decorative finishes and the careful arrangement and selection of furniture and lighting to best reflect the family’s ‘everyday’ lifestyle throughout. As part of this we also coordinated very closely with the architectural material palette selection including external and internal brickwork, the staircase and fireplace.
